Växjöfabriken is a contract supplier specializing in technically advanced and complex solutions for components for various industries.

What we do

Växjöfabriken handles everything from the development and design of components to the procurement of raw materials, machining, quality control, logistics, warehousing, and aftermarket services. We cater to a customer segment that expects a comprehensive supplier with high technical expertise in automation and process assurance. We have a well-developed supplier network and run our production in three shifts. Växjöfabriken delivers approximately 400,000 components annually.

Our History

Växjöfabriken was founded in 1957 and has since built and developed a modern business that has grown sustainably and responsibly over several decades. Over the years, the trust of our customers has resulted in an increasing number of orders, which in turn has provided steady growth.

During the 2020s, Växjöfabriken has doubled its revenue, with much of its success attributed to automation in the machine park, unique expertise in castings, and precision machining of complex parts, including 5-axis configurations. Today, Växjöfabriken operates in custom-built facilities designed for flexible, highly automated production, machining, and post-processing operations.

We benefit greatly from being part of the financially strong, Swedish-owned Pomona Group AB, which has long-term and competent industrial interests in the business.

 

 

Our Suppliers

Since our suppliers are located nearby, we benefit from more reliable deliveries, higher quality, shorter lead times, and, most importantly, reduced transport distances. We work in a structured and close manner with all our suppliers, developing products and processes throughout the entire chain together. Through continuous communication and close dialogue, we can meet most of our customers' needs and requests, sometimes even addressing aspects they hadn't considered but that prove important in the end.

Sustainability

Sustainability is an integral part of our strategy and operations. Our environmental policy ensures that we conduct resource-efficient and effective production, minimizing waste and emissions as much as technically and economically possible. We always take preventive action against pollution, and our environmental work is continuously developed and improved. For this reason, we have invested in a central cutting fluid system, recycle all metal shavings, and work exclusively with suppliers located in Europe to ensure shorter transport distances.

Växjöfabriken is part of the Pomona Group AB. Within the group, guidelines for conduct that apply to all employees and the suppliers we collaborate with have been developed. These Codes of Conduct outline the values and principles that we aim to uphold and follow in our work. The guidelines are also an important part of the Pomona Group’s sustainability efforts.
